Assignment #1

Read Units 3 and 4. Be prepared for a test on BOTH UNITS. (You are not responsible for "Session 3.3" on Internet Explorer)

Assignment #2

Create an email signature file.
Send a message to the instructor with an attachment (any type: Word, Excel, whatever) and a signature

. Make the subject "CIS 101 ATTACHMENT HOMEWORK." Assignment #3

Go on the WWW and find your chosen Michigan city's web site.
Save the site in your "bookmarks."
Print any one "page" from that web site.

Send a message to the instructor with that cite's address. Make the subject "CIS 101 CITY SITE." Assignment #4

Find another interesting web site (anything that interests you); USE A SEARCH ENGINE TO FIND THE SITE.

Copy the address of the web site and send it in a message to the instructor, with the subject "CIS 101--Check this out!"

Copy an image from that web site and save it in a Word file. Then type some caption for the image (e.g., "I used to look like this.") And print out the file.

Be prepared to present that site to the class next week (that is, to bring it up on the computer, to give the class a tour of the site, tell the class what's interesting about the site, etc).
